“After women, flowers are the most divine creations” – Christian Dior. Flowers are magical. They make the world vibrant. Markers of romance, they sooth the soul and fill the hearts with pure joy and cheer. Forever source of inspiration and colour, flowers have inspired the human minds in a million ways. From the ancient times of our existence to the age of machines. The different cultures or whichever part of the world you live, universally, the enigma of flowers is embraced by all. Flowers are provocative. They teach us things so hidden. Some of the most intense or creative minds like Hellen Keller, Frida Kahlo, Willian Wordsworth and John Keats have connected flowers to philosophy in the most fascinating ways. Flowers have always been stylish and will always remain so! We take this fascination forward with our latest floral jewellery collection and collaboration with Jhelum Biswas Bose.
Zariin and Jhelum Biswas Bose have shared a long standing relationship which has always translated to interesting collaborative work- from being our real women muse to hosting some fabulous events together. Taking this relationship forth, the collaboration has taken a truly floral route this time around. As Jhelum just launched her book – Phoolproof, where she teaches us how to gainfully use certain Indian flowers in living spaces, foods, and beauty and healing treatments. Zariin on the parallel has designed a collection featuring the same Indian flowers that are the hero of Jhelum’s book. Introducing Zariin’s floral inspired collection – Phool’s Paradise.
The flowers used as inspiration are Rose, Hibiscus, Lotus and Marigold. Zariin has used some inventive aesthetics to depict the flowers and the floral theme. The gold dipped jewellery perfectly depicts the aura of flowers while using meenakari and pearls to further add to the richness of the details. With Phool’s Paradise, the label will also be launching a new category of accessories – hair clips. The gold dipped hair clips have been exclusively designed as they take inspiration from the mentioned flowers. The collection includes a host of rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets that spell pretty and decorative.
Zariin has always found inspiration from the blooms (i.e Phool in Hindi). Phool’s Paradise is a collection of jewellery pieces that spell whimsical, dreamy, flirty and oh so floral! Each piece has a feminine allure that is hard to resist.
