We at Zariin take our work wear very seriously – after all it is our work outfits and accessories that are on us through that day for the major part of the week. Dressing up every day for work may mean different things to different people – while some find it therapeutic, there are few who label it as motivating. Most of us at the Zariin office love dressing up and therefore, gearing up for work is an undisputed ritual of our busy mornings. We believe your outfit defines your mood and has the power to set the tone for the day, therefore, dressing up a certain way is important for us to kill it at work. Believe it or not, but we have witnessed certain productive days only because our outfits made us feel the power and drive to achieve something. And we can vouch for many such women who would relate to this. Owing to the importance of work wear in our wardrobe, we decided to dedicate a blog post to some clean crisp outfits by Qua Clothing styled with Zariin jewellery to serve as perfect inspiration to kick start 2020 office routines in style!
We decode a few looks which have been styled on the basic principle of simplicity. The approach to each look is by styling solid coloured outfits in soft muted colours or neutral tone in modern cuts enhanced with the right dose of jewellery!
Look 1 – Board Meeting Ready with Layered Neutrals
One thumb rule of building a work wear wardrobe is to invest in neutral coloured elements which can be layered together through various permutations and combinations. Take inspiration from this blazer look. Zariin’s Amethyst stud earrings lend a touch of organic and to the point accessorizing keeping the look simple and chic.
Look 2 – Work it in White
Invest in several white shirts of different styles – a no brainer, classic and something that always works. These shirts spell impeccable style and make dressing up an instant affair. We all need such reliable options when dressing up in the mornings. Here are two white-shirt looks you can take note of. Both the shirts have been accessorized with simple minimal baroque pearl jewellery in the form of stud earrings and drop earrings respectively.
Look 3 – Black is Back!
Equally important is the perfect black dress. Simple, comfortable and well fitted. You can steer its aesthetics based on the power of accessories you choose to style it with. For a simple work look we have picked a minimal all gold necklace for an understated approach.
Look 4 – Pretty Pastels
The feminine pastels made an appearance as a trend several years back and have now become integral part of most of the work wear wardrobes. The soft colours add a refreshing vibe and some colour to otherwise uniformed approach to corporate dressing. We are crushing on some mint greens, lavender hues and rose tinted tones to upgrade the formal wardrobes. Interestingly, we have styled each of these colours with matching uncut stone jewellery piece– Blue Topaz for mint green shirt and Rose Quartz delights for pastel pink to impart a polished well put together approach.
Look 5 – Night Out Ready!
We are living in times where work outfits are not limited to work! On days your working day ends with a evening out with friends or a date, you are looking for outfits which fulfill the work criteria and go beyond to party perfect. Mix up styles to achieve the right look – here we pair a feminine slip dress with blazer along with stunning pair of drop earrings and a necklace. Finish the look with a lip colour to get you in the mood.
It is important to extend your personal style to your work wear as well. Jewellery is one element that adds the perfect finishing touches while lending the dose of sophistication to grace your formal attires.
